Sir George Martin

This uber-producer’s effect on producing and pop music is hard to put into words..  Sir  George changed the way music was recorded, and in the process signed and produced the most important records of pop history including the entire Beatles catalog.  He is also responsible for multiple albums from America and from Jeff Beck, including Jeff’s ground breaking Wired and Blow By Blow.  Along with co-founding the company, Sir George has executive produced a collection of early 60’s rock for the GrandMaster producer series.

Terry Date

Date has been producing multi-platinum acts for the past 25 years and was instrumental in creating what has become known as “The Seattle Sound”.  His trademark ‘Loud and Clear’ production has helped define a genre and achieved countless sales along the way.
Since the early ’90s Terry has recorded with such hard rock luminaries as Soundgarden, Pantera, Dream Theater, White Zombie, Prong, Slipknot, Deftones, Smashing Pumpkins, and Ozzy Osbourne.  Terry’s first album for GrandMaster is a no holds barred blaze of in your face rock.

Nick Launay

Nick Launay is currently one of the most sort after producers in the world due to his success with recent albums by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire, and Nick Cave & the bad seeds.
He is among the most prominent producers of the post-punk era, helming records from pivotal acts including: Talking Heads, Public Image Limited (Johnny Rotten), Gang of Four, Killing Joke, Lou Reed, and the Birthday Party.
Launay is known primarily for his passionate approach to recording with emphasis on raw sounds and capturing mood.  In the last 8 years he has produced albums for Supergrass, Mystery Jets, Grinderman, The Cribs (Johnny Marr from the Smiths) and the Last 6 Nick Cave Albums (including Grinderman)
Although from England, Nick also spent 8 years living in Australia, during which time he made some of that country’s most well known albums by Midnight Oil (x3), INXS, and Silverchair (x3).
In interviews he has often expressed his keenness to make music for Films, so his inclusion in this collection was a natural one.

Hugh Padgham

A poll in Mix magazine voted Hugh one of the world’s Top Ten Most Influential Producers.  Born and raised in

Britain, Padgham started out as a tape operator at Advision Studios, working in recording sessions for Yes and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. He has won a string of awards, including four Grammys, with Producer of the Year  and Engineer of the Year amongst them. He has engineered and produced acts including The Police, Genesis, XTC, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, and Sting.  Hugh’s first album for GrandMaster is a classic collection of 80’s pop/rock.  He is currently working on his second album for GrandMaster which is an eclectic mix of 70’s and 80’s rock.

Native Wayne Jobson

“Native Wayne”

Being born in Jamaica and growing up in the hills of St. Ann, , Wayne started off with close ties to both reggae and the Marley family. Wayne has recorded with a wide range of artists including: Keith Richards of “THE ROLLING STONES”, Jimmy Cliff, Toots and the Maytals, Willie Nelson (playing guitar and putting together the ‘Countryman’ reggae album), Gregory Isaacs, 311, Thievery Corporation, Paris Hilton, Herb Alpert and Garth Brooks. Native Wayne is considered one of the top talents in reggae, and has done a collection of different genre busting reggae songs for GrandMaster.
